LED devices have been installed on the AVANCE II+ 600 and DRX 250 NMR spectrometers, which have been developed on our order by ELO ET and include:
1. Control and emitting module consisting of:
- Control and power supply unit, providing pulse current for LED modules in pulse mode and direct current in continuous mode. The operating mode, the pulse parameters and the value of the direct current are determined by the user through the set signals from the control unit of the spectrometer;
- Three LED modules that can be switched via a switch. Their optical outputs are independent.
2. Optical cable that conducts the optical signal to the operating area of ??the NMR spectrometer. It is coupled to one of the optical outputs.
The other end of the optical cable is placed by means of a coaxial insert in the NMR tube as the sheath is removed on the last 4 cm of the optical cable and the quartz core is made rough for uniform irradiation in the whole volume of the sample.
